Custom apps · Written audits
You run the business. I build the software it runs on.
Custom internal apps for small businesses and non-technical founders.
Shipped fast with AI, engineered properly so they hold up. Real logins, real security, a database that won't paint you into a corner. Every project starts with a written audit. Fixed price, async-first, strategy calls whenever you need them.
Sound familiar?
Two problems. The same answer.
If you run a business
You're running it out of five spreadsheets and your memory.
Every new client adds friction. You've looked at off-the-shelf tools and none of them fit how you actually work, so the workarounds pile up, and you've become the bottleneck in your own company.
If you built something with AI
It kind of works, but you can't tell if it's safe.
You used an AI tool to build something real. Now you don't know if it'll survive actual users, whether your data is exposed, or what to do when it breaks. You're not a developer, and you're flying blind.
What I build
Two ways to work together.
No bloated agency, no account managers. You deal directly with the person building your software.
Custom internal apps
A web app built around your exact workflow. Scoped to fit, quoted from your audit. Roughly three sizes:
- Utility Apps · $2k–$10k. Single-purpose internal tools, automated scripts, or focused data dashboards.
- Core Business Apps · $10k–$30k. Replacing messy software stacks and spreadsheets with unified internal systems, workflows, and secure user logins.
- Complex Platforms · $30k–$50k+. Heavy, user-facing applications, high-scale systems, deep integrations, and custom SaaS architecture.
The Audit
A written audit of your workflow, or of an app you've already built with AI. Fixed price, async-first, with strategy calls welcome. Ends with a plain-English debrief and a fixed quote to build what you actually need.
How it works
Audit → Build → Care.
Every engagement starts small, low-risk, and async. You're never asked for a big commitment, or a calendar slot, before you've seen the thinking.
The Audit
It starts with a short questionnaire. I only take on work I can genuinely help with. Approved fits send a few materials and get a written debrief back: what's working, what's at risk, and a fixed quote to build it. Async by default, with an optional intro or follow-up strategy call included. The fee credits toward the build.
The Build
I build your app in milestones you sign off as we go. Working software early and often. No black box, no disappearing for months on end.
The Care Plan
Once you're live, a monthly plan keeps it running, fixed, and improving. You own everything from day one.
Why me
The difference is what's under the hood.
I'm not anti-AI-coding. I build with the same AI tools every day. That's exactly why I know where AI-built software cuts corners.
I've seen every shortcut, because I've had to fix every one of them. "Production-grade" isn't a slogan here. It's a specific, checkable list. And when it's done, it's yours: every account, every line of code, every byte of data. No lock-in, no hostage situation.
Pricing
No quotes hidden behind a sales call.
The audit is a flat $950. Real, and on the table. A custom build can't honestly carry a sticker price, so the audit's job is to hand you one exact, fixed quote with no surprises.
The Audit. A short questionnaire, then a written debrief with a fixed quote to build it, delivered async within about a week. Async-first; strategy calls welcome at any point. Credited toward your build.
Start the auditYour custom app, milestone-paid. Three rough tiers so you can self-qualify:
- Utility Apps · $2k–$10k. Single-purpose internal tools, automated scripts, or focused data dashboards.
- Core Business Apps · $10k–$30k. Replacing messy software stacks and spreadsheets with unified internal systems, workflows, and secure user logins.

Questions
The things people ask first.
Do we have to get on a call?
No, but you can if you want to. The audit can be completed 100% async if you prefer efficiency, but I am always happy to jump on a strategy call to map things out or review the debrief together.
Do I own the code?
Yes, completely. Code, database, domain and every account are set up in your name or transferred to you. You can keep working with me, hire someone else, or do nothing. There's no lock-in.
I already built something with AI. Can you just fix it?
That's exactly what the audit is for. I review what you've built, tell you what's solid and what's risky, and give you a fixed quote, whether that's a targeted fix or a proper rebuild.
How long does a build take?
It depends on scope. Your audit gives you a timeline alongside the fixed price. Most builds run a couple of months, milestone-paid, so you see working software early and often.
What if I just want advice?
The audit is the advice. A written, expert review of your situation with concrete recommendations and a fixed quote. Want to talk it through? A strategy call is welcome at any point.
Why solo instead of an agency?
Solo plus AI is faster and costs less, and you deal directly with the person doing the work, not a salesperson and three handoffs. The audit and care plan are how a one-person studio stays reliable.
What does the care plan cover?
Once you're live, hosting oversight, fixes, security updates and small improvements each month, a developer on retainer who keeps the app healthy. Priced dynamically based on the scale of your app, typically starting at a low monthly retainer to keep the lights on.
